Nigeria’s Unrest

“Nigeria unrest,” our latest slang
To the awful spot, we sprang
As our economy was sentenced to hang
And our security wails in clangs

Our country is under arrest
Extension days of another unrest
All our eggs are out of our nest
As our government is shouting, “We are trying our best.”

Read this carefully to understand
The virus is beyond our hands
Hunger stripes our land with a wand
Famishment virus is above our grand

On radio we express our hurtfulness
To lawlessness we cry our wistfulness
Let keeps praying to God for Forgiveness
As our thirstiness for comfort becomes waggishness

Why not share?
