Do You Want Beer?

Memories linger
Memories of the gone days
Gone days when I was alone
I was alone in the darkness

The darkness of a light
Light that shone bright
Bright but I couldn’t see

I couldn’t see the waves
The waves moving side by side
Moving side by side to hide

Days when sanity wasn’t vanity
Vanity of the good?
Good to my taste
Taste of the test
The test to taste your maturity

A beer to cleanse the thought
The thought make me hot
Hot for the wrongs I did

Do you want a beer
Yes
I want a beer
‘Cos a beer makes me laugh with everybody

The companionship
For a wrong relationship
Breakage in the courtship

A clear memory needed
Crying for I never heeded
A beer for a rubber
Clear from the barber

Why not share?
