“Murderer” — A Poem by Tobe Davis

Like the dawn of a new day,
I slept, and woke up
All new and transformed.
Evil occupies my subconscious,
And I am on a spree;
Killing anyone on my path.

I am a murderer,
Not with guns or knives,
Not with arsenals or a firm hand,
But with my words and deeds.
I am a new being in a new skin,
I am a murderer.
