Kidnapped

You could hear your mother’s scream from the end of the call. Your father was fuming too. Your sisters were all screaming too. You could sense the tension and the fear in their voice.

You just broke the news to them.

You’ve been kidnapped and the kidnappers demand huge sum of money to release you or you would be killed.

Your mother’s scream increased. “They won’t kill you, my son. Papa Ade, let’s send them the money. I don’t want anything to happen to my son.”

Your father’s voice came on after minutes of silence. “I will send the money. Just be careful. You will be out, my son.”

You were at your friend’s house, smiling. You’ve gotten them. This money you needed would be sent to you. They didn’t know and they will never find out that you planned your own kidnap.
