One Day, We Will Get It Right

Our land stands like Miss Three,
Pregnant of misery yet to be unfolded.
Indeed, the beast that battles our best
Is a friend in need, but not in deed.

Since the right men left,
We knew not where to face our faces.
Gravity isn’t the reason we fall victim
Of ordeals or deal with our enemy,
But one day, we will get it right.

Like we’ve not had enough—
‘Twas an August visit in December 19,
She broke out like an inmate;
Where is One World Peace when peace of mind is at war?

This unconditional condition is not permanent—
All tables shall be tabled properly… and
This present presence’ll be a past participle.
