Don’t Come Now

It’s long since you left me in the ditches of pain
Floods of tears and shelter of disappointment
Now I’m at the peak of happiness
Building the palace with my princess of love
Don’t come now when I have healed, yet you left me in pain

Look at my eyes, you can see the depression you left
Deep down my heart, the scar is still young
Don’t need your intoxicating love, my heart is at peace.
Don’t come now when I have healed, yet you left me in pain

The rains dropped and washed away the pain
As the sweet breeze whispered sweetness to me
I, Jim, the son of James, I loved everything about you
But you left me like a fool counting the shadows of eagles
Don’t come now when I have healed, yet you left me in pain

I now know love has no champions, and yet I thought I was one
I always walked like a king ’cause I thought I owned you,
Not knowing I was carrying an empty flask
The vacuum you left was non-magnetic
Don’t come now when I have healed, yet you left me in pain

Go, go, go, don’t turn back, my path is now bright
I smile like birds in their flight,
Feeling the sweetness like the virgin on her first date night
Don’t come now when I have healed, yet you left me in pain
