Robbed Of My Innocence

On the bare floor I landed
I lay unclad
and beheld my tormentor
someone I presumed to be a mentor.

It played with my bosom
with its hands like a leper
it trounced on me
and mounted on me.

Bruised at each thrust
by someone I did trust
he did ride on my virginity
sucking my pride and integrity

My floor stained by my blood
blood of men like Okonkwo
what will I tell my children?
I have just been robbed of my innocence.
