I hear it.
Rhythm and pitches that marry to bear melody.
They flirt around me.
And whisper promises of bliss.
Their magic waft unrelenting to my spirit.
How can I not let them in?
I feel it.
They brew this fire in me.
It crackles at first,
And then explode in me.
They burn my ice and melt my fences.
How could it even be possible?
I revel in it.
They tore me up from crown to sole,
Then bubble healing into my soul.
Their rain seep into my hidden deserts
And enchant me to bloom anew.
And you say, it’s just music?
