Vague Land

Clearly, I live in wonderland
Long before reality struck me
Long before canker worms sucked all
The land’s nutrients like a bug journey
With castles on a green pasture

The reality of Fillory opened my skull
Wandering and wading are all that my soul gives
Roaming in a circle that never ends
I squinted at the future to see better
Only gloomy blankness my eyes beheld

Mundane land is arid and frail
Old fruits soured, new vines fretful
Keeper of the sun shined beyond Twilight
Clock, clock anticlockwise
The future is barricaded like the wall of Jericho
