Waterdrops

Weeps in silence
Under the drops from a broken bamboo
As the cold breeze touched…

‘L’ is for the laughter enslaved by the chains of heartbreaks,
Laments and cries under the canopy of trust and mistrust.

‘O’ is for the optimism that love will never fail,
Again and again,
And again,
And gain it failed.

‘V’ is for the vows and promises all turned over to the whale’s belly,
And amidst the dark night I’d walk home alone,
again.

‘E’; ever thought of making your heart a diamond?
Dive into mysteries that do not end,
Ignoring where broken lovers go,
Blend through the fire and never shatter.

But here I am;
Broken,
Faded,
Hurt.
Love is EVIL—spelt backwards,
When someone steals the ‘O’ replacing it with an ‘I’.

Love has never been fair,
But I think the water drops seems colder than the tears.
