Unanswered Prayers

Prayers of a child who watched her Dad die
Who saw the death when it hovered by
When it came calling unto her own “Hi”

She couldn’t say a word
Not even to her God
The words were nowhere to begun
It all happened and he was gone

She saw her Mum down
Witnessed her sad frown

Oh! Dear God
My humility cannot be put in a word
I know you help us with fund
But I want a permanent ground
I want to heal Mama’s wound
I crave to make her proud
So help me God

My words aren’t exact
I believe you know it’s a fact
She’s all I have in my heart
Please let her get all she wants in the cart
I promise to serve you not in the mouth but in the act.
