Iruka

Iruka,

I’ve seen the seven wonders of the world
And have traveled with map
To view the Tower of Babel
But never have I imagined
The Hanging Garden of Babylon.

Iruka,

Blessed is the eyes
That will behold this iniquity
Sculptured perfectly for babies
Who are grown in mind
And not in size.

Iruka,

The future of Nigeria
Has been exposed like a cleavage
For wilds dog to massacre;
It’s a razzmatazz to argue
About our gigantic economy.

Iruka,

Your boobs are bigger
And wiser than Boohari;
Allow me calculate
The length of the arc
Separating Niger and Benue;
It’s a perfect conference for tourist attraction.

Iruka,

When I die,
Attend my burial:
Pay my condolence
With this pillow of life
For me to live again.
