I Love You Like A Love Fool

I anticipate your text,
A fool I have become.
I check once, twice
Hoping, waiting
Like a love fool

I see your text
My heart is in frenzy
Only to be crushed and buried
I am but garbage to you
Yet like a love fool, I smile.

A scholar now a fool
A love fool your new stool
Yet I love you like a fool
Your presence a tombstone
To my buried heart

I try, I gave my all, I loved
I act smart and sensible,
Sophisticated and graceful
But trash to your nobility
A love fool my identity

Wouldn’t you look at me just once
I don’t mind even if it is disgust
Just a glance
My heart flutters in glee
I love you like a love fool
