Lies, Lies, Lies

Do you mock me in your head
when you lie to me?
Are those words rehearsed?
You may not have been good at
many things but you are perfect at scheming. But who wouldn’t fall for that sweet mouth?
It was melodious to listen to, your words soothed and comforted me,
I replay every word when I am alone.
I may not have caught on quickly
but I did learn and saw you for the multiple-faced, lying, conniving
Demon that you are.
Guess what?
I had the last laugh after all.
How does it feel to be lied to?
How did you feel when you found
I played you in your own game?
