Yenno I Ain’t No Pessimist

Yenno I ain’t no pessimist.
but at times they are certain things we just have to believe would never be.

End times the clock stopped ticking.
White power; racism still breathing.

Black people still end up in coffins.
Women want their stands, gender equality.
Subjected to husbands; feminists against it.

Aks under the ceiling,
a young boy dropped dead in a minute,
a young girl selling her body to feed her family,
dinner served,
left over broccoli?

Teenager compelled to join the military,
wasted in combat the country doesn’t even hold an obituary?

Yenno I ain’t no pessimist.
But they’re certain things we just have to believe would never be.

Why not share?
