Purple Rain

Purple rain, mysterious feeling.
Yes, I like it.
My grief is hidden
beneath the sweet droplets so soothing.
I long for the changing of the cloud,
the spreading of thunder and lightning.
Let the rain fall nonstop,
for I’ll get purple like a royal.
My tears enjoys the company of the purple rain,
falling on glass, leaves and sand.
Get me a glass to drink out of the purple rain,
and I shall never thirst again.
