“Huh? You mean Ife is inside? Help me call her, please,” I said in excitement.

She walked outside, and took a seat. “Ife, I’ve been longing to see you for a while now. I have a revelation, only if you could lend your ears to the spoken words of the spirit.”

She adjusted a bit, listening. “All ears,” Ife replied.

“I see my morrow in your eagle eyes, my heart is thirsty—need you to quench it,” I confessed.

Ife walked into the house. “Take this cup of water to quench your heart. Is it okay?” she asked.

My eyes turned red.
