Alone

Being or feeling alone is one of the saddest places to be. You can have all the money in the world but if you don’t have anyone to share it with, you have nothing. The need for human companionship is universal. In ancient times, people stuck together because they literally needed each other to survive. In today’s world, we tend to spread out and live more isolated lifestyles. In some ways, this is a luxury. In other ways, we had it better when we lived in close proximity.

When the sun went down
And the moon came out
The stars shine bright
Your memories flood my brain
If only you know how much I miss you
If only you knew you mean so much to me
If only you know how I cherished you
If only you know how special you are to me
you wouldn’t have left me alone.

I cried all night alone,
Walking aimlessly through the tiny rough roads
With no sense of humor
leaving me in this tedious world
I felt lonesome
I felt dilapidated
I felt alone.

I must carry my cross of liberty
Withstand the subsequent absence alone
live my life alone
mind my instincts
face the consequences
I am alone.

My pain and misery fall from the sky
So hard I try to ignore it, but it still gets by.
Surrounded by memories of what could have been,
The hatred screams under my skin
you are gone
but still in my soul
I know you’re watching me
I know you’re safeguarding me
but I’m still alone.

I need your words of encouragement
I need your touch of sincerity
I need to feel your arms around my shoulder
Whispering to my ears
The bed night stories
I need to see you
I need to hold you
If they are scary
but I can’t
because I’m alone
which to see you when he comes or calls me home.
I’ll always watch the sun to see your shado

Why not share?
