An Infant’s Plea

Their days of despair are uncountable like the sands of time.
Wake me up when the face of humanity is sublime.

Feed me life when hospitality has been imbued into posterity and tranquility gains sovereignty

Call on me when hatred has been banished and the name evil, tarnished.

Open my eyes to see life filled with life
Where pain has no name and religion observed in sanity.

But till then father,
Keep me in this blissful abode.
Protect me from this abysmal ball.

Till then father,
Incubate in man the idea of peace.
Inculcate in him the spirit of unity, humanity and humility.

So I can see the Earth, a new Heaven
Where men are images of you
With hearts as pure as you
