Grew

What he did is really wrong
Consistently dining with his demons
Made his speech turn to a spiritual song

Seeing a day old secret grow old
Then you will know we live in the cold
Even the pressing issues on his nerves
Don’t get to cool off often times

Of all desires
He chose to be alone
Because his dream here
Couldn’t make folks offer a loan

He was told that the rugged street
wasn’t really meant for him
But the hustle just showed him
what it means to him

So it’s of good courage
To ignore the mess you see a young lad doing
For many were brought up with humble beginnings
Whilst others… from the other side

Indeed the truth hurts
That’s why boundaries wouldn’t cost
Yet he’s still bothered
“Does growing mean knowing what you really want?”

Why not share?
