Àsàbí

Whatever that makes the sun shine so bright
And makes it so beautiful when it sets amidst the
Yellow clouds—

Whatever that makes a butterfly fly after a
Colorful flower wherever the wind takes it,
Or that makes the bees buzz around the
Songs of love—

Whatever that makes the moon glow at night
Like the smile of an infant;
Or whatever that makes the lake reflect
The smile of the milky moon—

Whatever that makes the stars shine in the
Dark clouds as they wink like the eye of a lover,
Twinkling away in the slivery night—

For whatever that lies deep within the lines
Unspoken about beauty,
Or whatever that may be,
Which these lines cannot express,
Like that smile that blows dried leafs off the tree—

On your body only, lies the beauty these lines can’t write about…
