Tasteless Cravings

Tasteless cravings,
shapeless yearnings,
careless longings;
in everything I see.

Tasteless cravings,
as I was driving.
Tasteless cravings,
so deceiving.
Tasteless cravings,
even when I’m leaving.

Tasteless cravings,
like the raw linen.
Tasteless cravings,
all in the given.
Tasteless cravings,
I’m lost even.

Tasteless cravings,
of mortal glow.
Tasteless cravings,
no portal know.
Tasteless cravings,
in altered flow.

Tasteless cravings,
in the midmorning.
Tasteless cravings,
in the midday.
Tasteless cravings,
at midnight.
Tasteless cravings,
all the time.

These cravings,
aren’t yet born.
These cravings,
got my heart torn.
These cravings,
wrestles with morality within.
