Àdùnní Adé

Oh silent morning dew
Of rosy blush—
Yellow hue
That falls solemnly on a young
Maiden’s bare skin—
Àdùnní

Oh maiden of the glittering crest;
To whose skin—
The sun seems to rest,
In your nest,
Beauty finds it’s peace
And in your eyes,
You imprison the great blue ocean.

Oh maiden of the flowery fields,
Born from the smile of a fairy,
Bore out of the white lilies
That grows beside a blue lagoon
And your eyes which replicates
a beautiful garden where lovers meet.
