When I’m Ugly

When I’m Ugly would you still kill for me like you swear?
When I’m Ugly would you still give up everything to hold me dear?
When I’m Ugly would you still look at me with that wonder in your eyes?
When I’m Ugly would you still proclaim your love for me far beyond the skies?

Would you now look beyond the face within?
Would you still try to convince me like you do?
Would you care that athristis has become my best friend?
Would you still love me when I’m toothless, wrinkled and gray-haired?

When I’m Ugly would you stay?
When I got my scars on my face would you wait?
When I bear my badges on my face would you still cherish me?
When I’m Ugly would you still love me?
